Accounting Package Analysis

In an accounting package which is developed for the banking system has more functionalities because there are so many transactions in day to day routine of the bank. In the banking system, I analyzed about the process of the banking system by using it for different transactions. When I used it, it started to become familiar me with the system.

In the accounting package, first I was asked to follow the QA process for banking account creation process, because all the transactions of a bank depend on customer accounts. In this banking which I had to study, there I identified 3 main accounts.

• Personal accounts
• Loan accounts
• Pawning Accounts

All these accounts are related with various transaction purposes. Personal savings accounts for customer savings & withdrawals. Loan accounts for handling loans. Pawning accounts for handling pawning section of the bank. These 3 are the main services which is provided by a bank for it's customers.

In detail, there are some sub accounts under those main account categories. When we focus on better customer satisfaction and then, we have to understand the process that they continue their transactions. According to my knowledge that I gained from conducting this analysis, if we want to move with banking transactions first we have to create a customer account in banking system.

So I started to learn about accounts opening procedure of the given banking system and then I got to know how does it flow for all transactions of the bank. Actually, when I had this system for conducting QA analysis, it seems to be more serious. But after 2,3 days, it becomes more familiar to me. So the first step of me for conducting QA analysis for banking system is to create test cases for accounts opening procedure.
